1 Star Kayaking Certification

A good introduction to the sport, the One Star award is designed for complete beginners and covers all the basic techniques to safely manoeuvre a closed cockpit kayak on flat water.

This award can usually be completed in 2 days (12hrs) and would be run by a SCF Level 1 Coach or above.

Basic Grp Size: Max 60, Min 10, Coaches to Students Ratio 1:10

2 Star Kayaking Certification Course

A progression from the One star award, paddler is expected to perform the strokes at higher level and to more emphasis on how paddle, boat and water interact with each other. Rescue drills and many other efficient paddling techniques will be taught during the duration of the 3 days. This award can usually be completed in 3 days (18hrs) and would be run by a SCF Level 2 Coach or above.

3 Days Progressive 1 Star Kayaking

A good introduction to the sport, the One Star award is designed for complete beginners and covers all the basic techniques to safely manoeuvre a closed cockpit kayak on flat water. Syllabus that is supposed to be covered during this course will be divided among the 3 days evenly.

This award can be completed in 3 days (12hrs) and would be run by a SCF Level 1 Coach or above.

4 Days Progressive 1 Star Kayaking

Syllabus that is supposed to be covered during this course will be divided among the 4 days evenly for detailed learning.

This award can be completed in 4 days (12hrs) and would be run by a SCF Level 1 Coach or above.
